Janice Serilla's Profile

About

Mackerilla Design was founded by Janice Serilla in 2001. lt all began because a former employer was going to toss out a bunch of new fabric “leftovers.” These fabrics would all have ended up in the local landfill.

Mackerilla Design was founded by Janice Serilla in 2001. lt all began because a former employer was going to toss out a bunch of new fabric “leftovers.” These fabrics would all have ended up in the local landfill.
Janice being one to recycle, started up some bag designs and began carrying them around town. She then gained loads of compliments on her designs and then the sales of Mackerilla bags started! Since then in 2007, she started to sell her designs in sewing

Since Janice always has been artistic, she decided to get back into some graphic design work and create some cute and fun designs to screen print onto T-shirts, bags and pillow. So her children's as well as adult style t shirts designs were born! Which are now being sold here on her ETSY page as well as some local Santa Cruz boutiques!

Janice also has a pet related business under the brand "Gimpy Pets". (gimpypets.com) She has disabled pets and with this site and sales of her pet leashes, pet wear and toys, Janice is helping to raise money and the positive awareness of caring for disabled and senior pets!
Pet related items are sold on her other ETSY page. http://www.etsy.co/shop/GimpyPets

Please always adopt a pet from your local shelter and please do consider the broken ones! :)

$1 of every sale of any Gimpy Pet product goes to local animal shelters and rescue organizations. My foundation will help care for pets in need.
