Dear Friends,

My Shop is REOPENING! I have been busy enjoying retirement and the Summer of 2014 has come to an end. I will be reopening my Etsy Shop. Be sure you check the expected shipping time as it may be 3-4 days instead of my previous 1-2 days. That all being said, I am excited to get started with my Etsy Store again.

MadeforUjewlery specializes in Medical Alert Bracelets to help others be safe and responsible. ONE Tag and a different bracelet everyday.

Several life events have made me realize the importance of a Medical Bracelet should there be an emergency.
1. Being an RN by trade.
2. Having Asthma.
3. My Mom having been a victim of Alzheimer's.
4. My Identical Twin Grandson's being Autistic.
5. Being out of town,…

Dear Friends,

My Shop is REOPENING! I have been busy enjoying retirement and the Summer of 2014 has come to an end. I will be reopening my Etsy Shop. Several life events have made me realize the importance of a Medical Bracelet should there be an emergency.
1. Being an RN by trade.
2. Having Asthma.
3. My Mom having been a victim of Alzheimer's.
4. My Identical Twin Grandson's being Autistic.
5. Being out of town, sitting in a restaurant to celebrate my husbands birthday with friends and having a car drive right through the window into our table. (That is what you call the unexpected.)

Also, since getting my motorcycle, I have become aware that it is not just people with medical issues that need to be responsible. Almost anytime it is important to have an Emergency Telephone Number readily available. (Remember the car through the restaurant I just told you about?)

I retired in July of 2011 as an RN in the Pediatric ICU at a busy Children's Teaching Hospital. As much as we loved our town and friends, we decided to relocated to Central Florida area, where the sun shines providing year round warmth, beaches, new adventures and awesome roads for riding.

As a result of relocating to Florida I will no long be at the Apex Farmer's Market in downtown Apex, North Carolina (The Peak of Good Living.)
