Franci Claudon's Profile

About

I do believe I was born to be an artist. Somewhere along the way I zigged instead of zagged and instead found myself in Silicon Valley working in human resources. For a long time. A very long time. I fit art in the spaces not occupied by my job. Until those spaces felt far too tight and restrictive and I took a leap of faith and reclaimed my identity as Artist.

My paintings are an exploration of beauty – in dirty, gritty grey, gleaming red, ghostly white, saturated blue . . . in all the endless colors. In layers and texture. Sometimes bold and loud, sometimes mysterious and still. Often with a touch of whimsy. They are a celebration of my belief in possibility – for myself, for you and for the world.
