Stacy Fontana's Profile

About

* I have been designing jewelry for over 9 years.

* I love being able to create wearable art that is fun to wear and show off.

* I like to create using beads from around the world that have a story behind them.

I love to find beads from around the world that are made by people that live in poverty. By them making and selling these beads they are able to support their families and start businesses of their own. We all have to do our part in helping to make our world a better place for us and the next generations.

Africa is one of my favorite places to get beads from. Ugandan paper beads, Ghana recycled glass, Kazuri beads and bone batik beads from Kenya are just a few of my favorites.
