Marcy Prochaska's Profile

About

I think it was in college that I realized that my hands wanted to work, too, and that working hands can be refreshing to a busy mind and heart.

Some of the things my hands like to do include sewing and knitting, drawing, playing hammered dulcimer and other instruments, cooking, gardening, and scrapbooking.

I enjoy reusing things -- scraps left over from another project, thrift store finds, rejected clothes, and the like. A little rescue from the landfill, a little redemption of the unwanted, to create something new and lovely.
