Marily Ford's Profile

About

We own and breed angora goats and process their fiber. We raise them with lots of love and they live a very happy life here at Stack A Rock Ranch. I shear, wash, dye, card, and sometimes mix other fibers, into batts. I also spin the mohair into gorgeous handspun yarns suitable for a wide range of uses. I also enjoy painting with Acrylics and making other crafty items, most recently, hand dyeing OOAK silk scarves. My partner Chuck also likes to make use of some of the fallen wood on the ranch. He looks carefully for characteristics in each piece of wood and then sets pieces of broken glass and crystal rhinestones into little cracks and crevices within the wood itself. For the glass, he always uses recycled bottles. We hope that you enjoy our shop!
