Almost 6 years ago I got my first lesson on the sewing machine, and it has been a love affair ever since. But it took me a long time, and a lot of sewing, to get to where I am today. Three children, one successful blog, and a stack full of inventory later - and here I am.

It has been a dream of mine to have my own clothing line, and make my own sewing patterns. With a lot of practice, researching, and learning, I have come to realize this goal.

I believe all of our talents are gifts given to us from the good Lord above. And finding your passion in life, what you love to do with your time, it has been one of the greatest gifts given to me.

I believe in fun, yet practical, children's creations. I like to see my kids running around in clothes that they can wear every day. Occasionally you might see a fancy pants dress (because who doesn't love some girly goodness every now and then), but that generally is not my style. If I put the hard work and effort into creating something, I want to see my kids wearing it...a lot. I believe the same goes for buying a handmade product. What good is it if it just sits on the shelf? Classic, preppy and fun are all words that can describe my overall aesthetic.
