My grandmother's name was Pearl, and as such, she made pearls her signature trademark. I was always so fascinated by her collection, with their variety of luster, colors, shapes, and sizes. And years later, without even realizing it, I started using pearls in almost every costume, headdress, or jewelry piece I've created. They've sort of become my own private trademark, too.

The jewelry I will be creating for my Etsy shop will be named after and been inspired by strong and courageous women, like my grandmother. This will include women from history, literature, mythology, folk tales, and the like. I hope you enjoy my work.

I graduated from Art Center College of Design with Distinction in 2004, where I studied Illustration, Entertainment Design, Set Design, and Sculpture. Since then I have become a milliner, and I plan to feature my hats on Etsy as well…
