About

Hi, I am Angela (aka Caleb and Simon's Mimi.) Caleb is my first grandchild and I used to be his granni, but he decided to change my name to Mimi. Caleb is the inspiration for Milk Threads. After he was born, his mommy began using certain products and for whatever reason, was not happy with them, so from her complaints and ideas, came my creations and Milk Threads was created.

I began sewing when I was very young. I had big black garbage bags full of hand sewn barbie clothes, but I did not learn how to read and use patterns until I took Home Ec. in high school. When my oldest daughter decided to get married she wanted me to make her wedding dress. This was the first time I had sewn in years. I was so nervous cutting into that expensive lace, but all went well and she was a beautiful bride. Two years later when she was pregnant and started talking about using cloth diapers, I started doing research on all the fabrics that can be used. It did not take long before I was addicted. I LOVE fabric, Cotton, Bamboo, Hemp, Fleece, Velour, French Terry, and all the Micos.....a fabric lovers dream.

Quality is very important to me. I think everyone deserves the very best quality in the products they purchase and I do my very best to insure that all Milk Threads products are made from high quality materials and threads and are made to the best of my ability.
