Her award-winning designs have been showcased on the cover of M Magazine and Info Magazine, among others. Miranda has held positions as a curator for Tenth Street Gallery, adjunct professor at The Art Institute of Milwaukee, and color specialist for Kohl's Department Stores.

Levy's story begins in the tiny town of Wilton, Wisconsin where she was the daughter of an Army soldier and the oldest of three children. Following in her father's footsteps, her inspiration was dened by the eight years she spent in the U.S. Army as an equipment mechanic, a path she chose due to their reluctance to hire a woman for the position. After active duty, Levy returned to Wisconsin to attend the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she earned a BFA in Photography and Fibers. Her youngest brother's tragic death in an automobile accident pushed Miranda to focus on her dream of being a fashion designer and ultimately showing in New York City.

Through her opportunity on 'Project Runway', Levy wants to present an inspiring message to women in the military and other aspiring fashion designers by sharing her unique story and exciting path to success.
