About

I live in medieval town of Škofja Loka close to European Alps in a country named Slovenia. I've travelled to lots of places I really liked but so far our small and beautiful country still has my heart. I'm exclusively using material made in our local factory and sometimes they make me custom stripes (which makes me sooooo happy!).

I always liked making things but it took me a while to find that one right product that would take me in the land of making where I could build a whole new little world. I tried painting and later while living in Edinburgh for a while I tried sewing bags but have to admit that despite my cousin wore hers all the time and is still bugging me to make her another one I don't own one myself.

I've travelled to lots of places I really liked but so far our small and beautiful country still has my heart.

And then, five years ago, I made a reversible hoodie for my then half a year old son. I made it reversible because I didn't' have an overlocker and I had to improvise. Now our place is crowded with hoodies hanging around and I just love the little animals looking at me and my little kids. My kids enjoy wearing them and I enjoy looking at them wearing them. I finally found my thing!

I want to make them practical, colorful, lovable and comfy. I want them to get covered in chocolate and mud when being worn. I want hem to last so kids can pass them on to their little brothers and sisters. And as far as I've seen and as far they've told me the little piece of cloth with a cute animal on the front usually soon become a child's good friend and keeps them company wherever they go. And kids need nice company:)

I love Etsy, I think what I love the most is that to me it feels like traveling when I'm here (and at the moment with our three little kids it's hard to make it further than neighbouring Italy - which, by the way is a pretty good place to travel). Etsy just feels like a place where I want to be.
