I appreciate all arts, drama, music and love great architechture. I have dabbled in collage, mixed media, and then after attending a class at Art & Soul on Jewelry, I began playing around with gems and especially pearls. I scoured flea markets and gem faire's and found some vintage rosarys at an underground Seattle flea market. I designed a bracelet around them, and a friend of mine who works in design saw it and insisted that I take a few things to a gallery. After months of procrastination, I did, and to my surprise, things took off.

I strive to design one of a kind collectable pieces, for I believe our jewelry says something about us and each of us desires to show our individuality. So, if a piece of mine appeals to only one person, it has found it's place.

I think jewelry should be something that enhances us and brings us joy. Something we look foward to wearing, that lifts our spirit.

Being a mother of three and a somewhat (albiet sloppy) housewife, I love the freedom in being able to go out to my studio (shop) and create and lose myself. Sometimes I may emerge with only one piece but the time spent is worth it because self expression is necessary to feel inner peace, wholeness and balance.

I believe we all should evoke our individuality through many statements - our jewelry being just one!
