OK, Everyone, Listen Up--I think I am in need of a good Doctor or a Psychiatrist--I confess, I AM A KNIT- WIT AND I GOT THE QUILTING BUG!! There is no help for me, other than having someone buy my scarves and quilts--so they will disappear from my Shop. This winter season, I have over 50 scarves on Etsy. I do like the different knitting patterns that I have discovered since being put out to pasture and am still looking for more Hopefully, some one out there will HELP ME. I AM PRESENTLY LIVING HERE IN ROCKVILLE, MN. I HAVE NOW RETIRED FROM NURSING. I sometimes think what is the future of nursing and the medical field--it's a scary thought, but no more of that--I am out of it. Now I can devote my time to quilting and knitting. It took me awhile to do knitting as I do like the different patterns and they do take alot of concentration. I was taught to knit when I was 11 years old by an aunt of mine, who was known for her knitted afghans. This year, we have had to downsize our household, moving into an apartment, making it very hard to do much with my quilting. I so do miss my big sewing room in my old house, but we are adapting to this new change in life. I HAVE AN ADDICTION--NOT A BAD ONE--BUT I LOVE TO DO QUILTS. I ALSO LOVE PHOTO ART, ART PRINTS, WATER COLORS, VINTAGE ITEMS--MOST OF WHICH I HAVE SEEN ON ETSY. I ALSO GOT MY HUSBAND INVOLVED WITH QUILTING--MOSTLY WALLHANGINGS, AND WILDLIFE QUILTS and his bottle lamps. No, he does not drink the contents of those bottles, we have a friend who owns a liquor store and bar/grill--SINCE HE IS PRESENTLY RETIRED AND JUST SITTING AROUND THE HOUSE. WE BOTH TALK ALOT ABOUT ETSY AND I LOOK AT OTHER PEOPLE'S ITEMS EVERY DAY--WE LOVE IT. I DO APPRECIATE OTHER PEOPLE'S CRAFT ITEMS--THE WORK THAT THEY PUT INTO THEIR CRAFTS IS JUST AMAZING. I ALSO WANT TO MENTION I HAVE TWO DAUGHTERS, ONE STEP-DAUGHTER AND FOUR GRAND CHILDREN. SO I HOPE TO KEEP BUSY WITH OUR CRAFTS FOR A FEW MORE YEARS.
