About

I'm a mother of twins. I lost my son shortly after birth due to congenital birth defects. The day I found out he wouldn't survive, I stopped creating. I just didn't have anything to give. About 6 months after he passed away, I was rifling through my school teacher things and I came across a poem by Emily Dickinson. "Hope is the Thing with Feathers" got stuck in my brain and I have been madly creating ever since.

Everything I've been making has been in honor of my son Benjamin and my daughter Grace. Through both of them, I've been learning to live a little bit more each day.
