About

Thank you everyone for the 5 years of success. I retired in 2011 5 years ago and started this Etsy shop and have done many craft shows.

It has been my dream to create one of a kind items. And now at 68 the dream has come true with all my customers help.

Joining the ASG ( American Sewing Guild ) in 2012 has helped me learn many new sewing and craft ideas. Also taking classes for new patterns gives me new ideas to make my one of a kind originals.

At the age 10 my mother taught me to sew. It was also available in high school back then. As a teen I worked for Hudson's (now Macy's) in the alterations department downtown Detroit.
When I got married at 21 I took on the challenge of making my own wedding dress.

Before retieing I purchased 2 Husqvarna Viking embroidery machines and a Huskylock serger. Over the years I have collected many embroidery designs and have the 5 D embroidery extra so I can embroidery many fonts or embroidery designs for any special orders.

Making large totes and pursed I found there are no large buttons. So I searched the web and learned how to make large hard to find colors out of poymer clay. Slow baking and a special spray make them hard. They are all originals and designed by me again making them one of a kind. Last year my daughter-inlaw talked me into taking a class making ceramic clay buttons. So they have also been added to my Etsy shop. They are truly beautiful and again available in the large sizes.

Please feel free to contact me. I'd love to hear from anyone with ideas or comments about my shop or items.

Please also remeber that I can do special order embroidery designs for any special gift.

Sincerly,
Linda
