Kat's Profile

About

I love to do anything crafty and love finding and trying something new.
I started making things as a young girl, around 4 years old, because my grandmother was a seamstress. She taught me how to sew and crossstitch, and eventually how to add beads to my work. I would visit NYC with her and go around the garment district picking out fabrics, findings, trim, etc. Throughout childhood, my two sisters and I would make and sell bracelets on Fire Island every summer. I've been crocheting, lampwork, beading, sewing and pretty much anything else I can get my hands on since then.
I currently live in NYC with my amazing daughter, son and husband who is a chef and also my biggest supporter.
