To sum up this happy little business, you need to know three things:

1. I enjoy wielding my crafty power to make things pretty. It started when I was a child and I learned that I liked Crafts. Things snowballed…now I’m in my late twenties and crafting like a machine.

2. I like possessions to be useful. I don’t like having tons of extra clutter around, and I’m not a knick-knack person. That’s why I focus on making things that have a purpose–To carry your stuff. To provide a soft comfy spot to put your head. To keep your countertop from being burned.*

3. I have a fascination with fabrics and materials with a history. Vintage textiles get me super excited. The selection is incredible, and it’s very special to own something so unique that can’t be matched at a big store. Plus, I’m reassured by re-using something that’s already around, which is more environmentally friendly.

When something is pretty AND useful AND has a history, that’s a golden combination. It’s this great combination that made me start thinking about starting a business. I get a little kick out of sleeping on the most beautiful pillowcase in the world and using unique, pretty and practical trivets in my kitchen, and I want to share that feeling with others.

I live and work in Winona, Minnesota, with my husband Jon and two adorable kitties, Charlie and Ninja Bob. Visit my website to learn more about me, or stop by my Etsy shop!
