About

I have been interested arts & handcrafts most of my life and after losing my ability to crochet and knit due to nerve/joint damage I turned to weaving. I found a band box loom pattern in my grandma's trunk and made my first wooden loom. It was wobbly and ugly but my thrist for more has fired my creative soul and my efforts have lead me down the oddest trails. Along the way I've met many other weavers who either buy or sell or both.

My critter looms were born of a need. I wanted something fun as well as functional. Most of my first Lucets were built as they have been for centuries. I was worried how folks would view my looms but have recieved many incouraging emails from lucet weavers, some have almost my complete collection. They comment that these little fellers are a great way to get kids involved in weaving as well.
