.....sometimes the old things are better than the new ones. Why would that be?
Sometimes they were just made better. A modern sewing machine will have 20 types of stitches -- but it's made of plastic. My first sewing machine was cast iron. You will find the word "sturdy" in many of my listings, old-time sturdiness is one of the attributes of vintage that appeals to me.
Sometimes it's the old styling that gets you: 60's clothing --midcentury luggage -- 20's graphics -- 1900's postcards
Sometimes the attraction is just the wear and tear -- the rust -- the dents -- the worn pages!
And so let's face it......OLD STUFF ROCKS
