About

I am very out going and easy to work with, I love to sew and come up with new designs. I love any type of crafting and love to try new projects.

I am a mom to 4, ages 2, 8 , 10 and 15..

A little about how I got into creating baby accessories.

I actually started making baby headbands when I was 10 years old along with my cousin. We would make headbands for her younger sister. We'd go into her closet look at her clothes and create headbands to match her outfits. We sometimes go to the craft store and get items to make the headbands 2 times a day.

A few years later, my sister and I got into making hair scrunchies. We would walk up to the fabric store and buy all sorts of fabric and stock up on elastic. Once, I made so many scrunchies, I then started…

A few years later, my sister and I got into making hair scrunchies. We would walk up to the fabric store and buy all sorts of fabric and stock up on elastic. Once, I made so many scrunchies, I then started selling them to friends at school for $1.00.

I come from a line of seamstresses both of my grandmothers owned sewing machines and sewed. My grandma Hannah made so many quilts with the sewing machine but also stitched by hand. My mom is the person who made me want to learn to sew. When she was a young girl, She made her prom dress, formal dresses for school dances, her wedding dress, wedding dresses for others, bridesmaid dresses, choir dresses, christening dresses, halloween costumes, all of my high school dance dresses and many of my brothers and sisters clothing growing up. She even made clothes for our dolls.

Not until I had my first daughter is when I wanted to learn to sew because she wanted to be Snow White for Halloween. Since then I think I have made all the princesses, including the queen of hearts.

My2lilpixies has been in business selling my products retail and sale wholesale for over 9 years. My second little girl inspired me to make headbands because I just wasn't finding the types of hair accessories I wanted to put on her. Or if I did they were very expensive and cheap quality. Soon after I found myself wanting to add more unique items to her closet and to the shop. That is whenI dove into making bloomers and wanted to put ruffles on everything that I saw.

Over the years I have burned up 2 sewing machines trying to do as much sewing as I was with the amount of sewing that I was doing. I finally was able to purchase an industrial sewing machine that can handle the work load.

I am very thankful to ETSY that has provided me with a place to make and sell my items and to my customers who come and purchase from us. I love to hear of the customer that have had their second girl wanting to purchase items for them because they fell in love with the our products years ago.
I do my absolute best to provide the best quality to all. I am very thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to make and sell products for sweet babies.
