ABOUT ME
I have been sewing all of my life. As a child, my mom let us sew on an old industrial sewing machine. We made everything on that old machine. While obtaining a degree in Home Economics education, I worked in a clothing factory in Cincinnati, making school band uniforms. I learned much about the real world those summers, what hard work really was and mostly the value of a dollar.
The next thirty years were spent teaching Home Economics to middle schoolers. It was a joy seeing my students master the sewing machine and learn valuable life skills. I am now semi-retired from education with time on my hands to once again get out my sewing machine.
Having a business is not totally new to me. I ran another small clothing company in the eighties. The only difference now is that in additon to going to stores, I can communicate by way of the internet. I…

ABOUT ME
I have been sewing all of my life.
I get to deal directly with my clients and pass on the savings. I am looking forward to having you as one of my clients and friends.
My-S-Cap developed out of a simple act of kindness. I was asked to make surgical caps as a Christmas present. The nurse was so pleased with the caps and the compliments she received when she wore them, that she encouraged me to make more.

One small request gave birth to My-S-Cap.

GOALS
My-S-Cap is unique in that although our primary goal is to create attractive, comfortable, headwear, I also wish to make a small positive difference with our product.

My-S-Cap is a small company with big dreams of ……… making a difference one stitch at a time. I make that difference by donating a portion of the proceeds to Central KY Cancer Program CKCP and the Wounded Warrior Project which helps disable veterans and their families.

With so many friends battling cancer, and our U.S. service personnel putting their lives on the line for us daily, it’s the least we can do.

My-S-Cap
My-S-Cap started in 2010 making surgical caps for nurses and doctors. I had one design style. My variety was that the cap was made in different cotton prints. Two years later through special requests My-S-Cap now offers much more than surgical caps.
