Lorraine Vogel's Profile

About

I am a graphic artist with an itch to get keep my hands busy playing around with polymer clay. Living in South Florida inspires me to create playful and colorful pendant and beads using this diverse medium. I then incorporate these clay pieces into jewelry pieces.

My shop is a shout out to all sports fans. Since my son has started school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, I've been interested in creating fun pieces with a feminine touch for the ultimate team fan.

The pieces shown can be custom made for any school team. Send me the link to your team's website and I can create a jewelry piece using your team colors so you too can show your team spirit! Discounts available to booster clubs looking for jewelry as a team fundraiser.

I hope you enjoy my shop. Tell your friends!…

Mokume gane is an ancient Japanese metalworking technique. Adapted to polymer clay, 16 layers of repeating clay colors are stamped. The top layer is then shaved smooth, revealing an interesting pattern of colors.
