Born in San Francisco, California I have been a ceramic sculptor all my life Working alone at my home and studio on the 160 acre Sweetwater Ranch I have spent years perfecting my technique and live to honor the natural world thru my work I have received many awards and honors but none so valuable to me as the ability to share the flora and fauna totems thru my work I keep a large organic garden and orchard and after a long day in the studio or gardens I go for a ride on my horse into the surrounding national forest
Most recently, my work was included in the Spencer Davis collection now held by the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, CA. The collection was a project of various editors of the magazine, Ceramics Monthly.

Favorite materials

My work is indiviually wheelthrown white earthenware with handcarved flora and fauna motifs Low fire glazes are airbrushed on the ware in multiple coats and then fired to maturity in an electric kiln
