I've been a collector since I was a kid; spending my allowance and babysitting money on treasures from the thrift stores and garage sales around town. In my room I would sift through decorating magazines for inspiration, and loved creating little vignettes in my room with my treasures.

As my kids were growing up, I got my education in Horticulture, and was fortunate enough to work at the local conservatory, various greenhouses and did a bit of independent garden designing on the side.

Nature, wildlife and creativity have always played a big part in who I am. Taking a walk in the woods or on the seashore nourishes my soul AND the treasure hunter in me! When I return home my creativity kicks in and my new found treasure are strung up or added to an old wooden bowl and a still life is born that will feed my soul until my next venture into the wild blue…
