Hi, I am an shop owner of "nicki nicki gallery" on Etsy, and you can see the entire collection of my artwork at http://www.etsy.com/shop/NickiNickiGallery?ref=si_shop

About me... I am a self-taught artist. In summer 2009 I "finally" decided to follow my long time passion for art. Not having had any formal training in art, for the first two years, I spent much of my time learning and developing painting and drawing skills and techniques on my own. At the same time, I spent hours and hours trying to figure out how I could blend my artistic talent and entrepreneur spirit to bring out something I dreamed of for many years. In December 2010 when I had a chance to exhibit my little animal paintings at a gallery in San Francisco, those trial paintings brought a wonderful surprise. I made about 50 paintings, and they were all sold out within a few weeks. That's when I decided to start…

That's when I decided to start selling giclee prints of little animal paintings, and I named my brand new business "nicki nicki"

Nicki is a rescued dog and has become such an important part of my life over the past four years. Similarly, pursuing my passion for art was almost like rescuing the part of me that had been hidden in a dark locked up room for so many years. Now you can
see why I named my new little business, "nicki nick". I wanted to rescue my art and cherish it for the rest of my life. That is the very reason I always put my heart into what I create. I genuinely hope that my artwork will become like the little teddy bear you've cherished ever since you were little. Something brings back sweet memories, smiles and comfort to your heart even when you feel a little blue.
