Nitsan graduated cum laude from 'About Design' department, master degree (M.Des) in 2011 at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, Israel. In 2008 completed B.A. in Industrial Design at the Holon Institute of Technology in Israel. Additionally, she studied at the Program of Design at the Köln International School of Design KISD in Koln, Germany.

Nitsan explore the design field from various directions, a major part of her work and current research is on the range between natural and artificial world who in today's world blurred almost completely.

In 2011 nitsan Established Studio BET together with Liora Rosin. The studio design furniture, products and exhibitions. The common theme of all of our work is based on our approach of observation and study of the present within a historical perspective with the goal of understanding and looking towards the future. This is expressed in the studio's work which strives to integrate the past with the future, including material, technological and cultural aspects of design.
