I've been working with computers in one way or another since junior high. I’ve worked at home doing tech support in the last nearly 11 years since my daughter was born. Initially it was just going to be while my daughter was a baby. We found out at about 17 months that she has autism. I was lucky to be able to continue to work at home since outside the home would not have been an option. Between my tech support job and my online habits (Facebook, Wizard 101, World of Warcraft), I probably spend way too much time on the computer in my lair (if men can have caves, I can have a lair).
I’ve always enjoyed crafts. I’ve sewn, painted miniatures, done paper quilling, learned to knit, still crochet, do scrapbooking and absolutely love working with beads. There are so many colors, shapes and textures to work with. Computers may be how I make my living, but crafting feeds my creative…
