Trish Dalto's Profile

About

North Country Glass is the work of glassblowers Alex Kalish and Trish Dalto.

We began blowing glass in 1986 and 1989 as students at Franklin Pierce College. After graduating in 1991, we started working for another glassblower. It was then that we began developing our own designs. In 1995 we built our own studio where we continue to produce our own unique line of blown glass. North Country Glass has sold pieces to galleries locally and across the country.

Our pieces are all hand-blown without the use of a mold. Each piece is individual and unique. No two pieces are ever exactly the same. We believe this adds to their appeal. We produce a varied selection of decorative and functional pieces including vases, stemware, ornaments, unique glass jewelry, and more.

North Country Glass is a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen. We are also juried members of Hillsborough Area Artisans and participate in their 2 annual events in June and September. The third weekend in September is the annual open studio tour. North Country Glass holds a studio open house and seconds sale every year on Columbus Day weekend and the following weekend. This is a great chance to see the glassblowers at work and see the wide range of glass that we produce. North Country Glass is located in Washington, NH.
