About

We are sisters who crochet by the bay - Blissfully beading away during the warm summer days on the North Fork of Long Island. Although we never intended to sell our wares - we quickly became beach peddlers - as friends & strangers started approaching us on the beach and asking to buy our necklaces. We have been selling our work for five years now, and have made many very loyal customers. Each year we try to introduce something new - but we are always willing to create some of our old classics. The greatest fun, for us, is when we see our pieces being worn, by people unknown to us, in other parts of the country. It's great to know that our little "camp craft" has appealed to so many people - from so many different places. We hope that you will enjoy our work! (Although it is hard to call it work when it is truly a labor of love) In fact, it sometimes is actually therapeutic. My sister "beaded" her way through chemotherapy. She says there were days when the only thing she could do was bead. And beading made her happy and made her feel accomplished. She actually beaded while getting her chemo! All the nurses and administrators were happy to receive the fruits of her labor. She even came up with her Breast Cancer line featuring various shades of pinks beads...we really need to get some in our store!!
Everything we make is very durable. Our entire extended family (which is huge!) - as well as our customers, have tried and tested all of our designs.
Summer is meant to be fun - so don't worry about your jewelry. Whether it's salt or chlorine from a swim, or sweat from running, golf or tennis - just rinse your necklace when you rinse yourself and it will be just fine.

Most recent feedback from a buyer...

"I enjoy the necklace IMMENSELY! :)
It carries with it such great energy, and is beautiful to look at, too, of course. The natural elements make it very special for me.
I am grateful for your creativity :)"

Thank you! We are grateful for our customers, and the opportunity to share our designs all over the country! - NFK
