Where to start? I’m horrible at these bio things, but I’ll give it a shot.
My name is Tabauamunet.

Since I was little, I’ve had a fascination for all things Egyptian. And I mean really little. Since before I can remember, I’ve loved pyramids, the Egyptian paintings; always racing to catch any Discovery Channel documentary on the era. There was something hypnotic about the people, the myths, the places, and most of all… the Gods.

In the Kemetic (or Egyptian) tradition, every person has an aspect of God, or a Name of Netjer as the Egyptians called Them, that is closest to them, and created their soul. In the Kemetic Orthodox faith, these are called your Parents, or Beloveds. After finding and joining the faith, it turned out that Amune…

After finding and joining the faith, it turned out that Amunet is my Matron, my Parent.

In a quest to honor Her, and to continue with my magickal practices, I began making ritually pure fragrant oils to offer to Her and Her counterpart, Amun. Most fragrant oils offered on the market are incompatible with the Kemetic purity requirements for ritual. So I began working on making a ritually pure fragrant oil that smelled like what I wanted to offer my Mother. When that went over extremely well, I began making similar oils for different Names of Netjer to honor Them.

Each blend is determined by research of ancient preferences of the Names, modern-day suggestions for offerings, and dreams. After each recipe is created, I do some divination to see how They feel about it. (Yes, I have gotten a few flat out “NO!”s about a few recipes lol.) If the Name approves it, the newly made oil then sits on the shrine with Them to soak up Their energy for weeks. After trading some of my oils to friends and getting great feedback, I decided to offer a few of them online for sale to other Kemetics.

Fast-forward to 4 years later, and you have the birth of what is now known as Of Ravens & Vultures…
