About

Hello friend! I'm Sarah Ohme, the graphic designer behind Ohmeohmy Design.

I taught myself to type when I was seven years old or so. Upon getting our first computer, my parents decided it best to just sort of turn me loose and let me figure it out — no one thought to explain what the 'shift' key did.

'Caps lock,' on the other hand, was self-explanatory, so I naturally assumed that people capitalized by locking and unlocking caps whenever the need arose. I didn't realize this was not normal until I was 23 years old. And yes, I still type that way. I can guarantee that I have the most articulate left pinky you will ever encounter.

I collect words. And colors. And books and stories and memories. My ideal perfume would be a mix of roses, campfires, petrichor, and old musty books. I nap as often as humanly possible, and fully embrace the way my pillow frizzes out my curls. I like to make things. I amuse and annoy my neighbors by filling my driveway with chalk-poetry. "Art is a verb" is my credo. I think a lot. I love even more. I listen to awesomely bad 90s hip hop when I work out. I read the dictionary when I'm bored. I'm a feminist and I hate wearing socks.

So anywho — that's me! Who are you?

Oh, and if you want to know something else (favorite tea, charming idiosyncrasies, blood type, et al), please feel free to convo me! :)
