My love for textile folk art moved me to create Olympic Wool Works. We specialize in hand-dyed wool fabric for use in fabric art: rug hooking, wool applique quilts, penny rugs, soft sculpture, doll making, and clothing. We carry a vast array of colors and textures. I also do hand crafted dolls, patterns, kits, wall hangings, and jewelry

Our Etsy Shop carries my hand-crafted items and hand dyed wool. We are currently featuring bundles of fat sixteenths in a variety of colors. Please stop by and take a look. We will be increasing the shop inventory to include more bundles, fat eighths, additional dolls, patterns, kits, and jewelry.

I've been working with needles, sewing machines, crochet hooks, dye pots, rug hooks, and various threads and textiles since I can remember. I fell in love with wool and rug hooking after being introduced to the craft at a lecture I was taken to by a friend about twenty years ago. I've since produced many rugs (two of which won best of show at the Sonoma County State Fair) and other related crafts, crafted with a rug hook. It was natural for me to start dyeing my own wool pallet, as it got wearisome hunting through thrifts stores for used wool garments. Olympic Wool Works grew out of these activities.

Please peruse our shop. I promise you that there is more to come. It is a pleasure for me to supply people who are dedicated to these crafts with materials for their art work. We are currently supplying about eighteen quilt (and related) shops in the state of Washington with some of our wool fabrics, and we are growing.
