About

Most of my inspiration as a crafter comes from my love for nature and the beauty that lies in the Creation story. I work mostly with organic fibers when they are avaiIable, often plant dyed or textiles that draw upon the senses and somehow, someway, evoke an ancient time. It seems that it is is often the fabric itself, such as a brown, loosely woven raw silk, or soft, knitted, organic cotton that inspires the final product. I try to keep a rustic look and show a few stitches that we often forget were made when we buy mass produced items. I get great pleasure out of making things and bringing this light, the forgotten art of handcraft into your home.
