About

Thank you for your interest in Norma's Orchid Ranch. I became addicted to orchid growing 1987 while studying for my doctorate in Chemistry at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. I now have five beautiful children and a patient, loving husband who supports my orchid endeavors. We have a shade house attached to our home where many of the seedlings and compots are grown making them excellent home candidates. A Phalaenopsis or Paphiopedilum make a wonderful, beautiful addition to any home. Their beautiful flowers typically last for months. Growing species and primary hybrids is also very popular and rewarding. I especially enjoy photographing orchids and hope to dazzle you with their beauty. I take pleasure in sharing any information I have assimilated on orchid growing so you can successfully share in the orchid fever.
