I started doing beadwork many years ago with simple Native American type beadwork and my husband did Native American art work also. We were lucky to find a house with a store front and opened a gallery featuring his work along with craft supplies. After his passing I continued to do artwork.

I was next to a R.V. park and had many customers from there. One day a wonderful lady named Phyllis came in and purchased some beads. I asked what she was working on and later that day she brought some of her work over. I had never seen bead weaving or bead embroidery but when I saw her work I was hooked immediately. It was beautiful. She recommended a couple of books to get me started and I haven't stopped since. I quickly added bead working supplies to my inventory.

I have since then been flooded out and not been able to go back because of the damage bud did save most of the beads and some supplies. I sold at craft shows for a while and cannot do them any more because of my health. Just too many beads to let sit around so here I am.
