Origins11 is a collective shop for jewelry, textiles, fine art photography and other handcrafted items by myself and my mom kathy mueller. It has always been our dream to have our own business that focused on the arts and allowed us to spend our days doing what we love most! As anyone who has tried to start a business with a storefront knows, it's nearly impossible these days short of some hefty savings, an investor or a miracle;) Thanks to etsy, we are thrilled to bring our collection of fine arts to you and share our love of all things creative.

My mom is an amazingly talented woman who taught me to quilt & craft from a very early age. I've never seen anyone with as much skill in hand-quilting as her, with such perfect tiny stitches. That would explain why she's so gifted with the handwoven/sewn seed bead jewelry. She creates many of the textiles you'll find in our shop, particularly the handwoven items which she weaves on a traditional wooden loom as well as the stunning hand woven/sewn seed bead jewelry that is worth much more than we've priced it because of the intense labor and detail of each piece. Her "day job" is a floral designer & co-manager (my father is the owner & head manager;)) of our family's flower shop, as well as running the bead shop she & run together.

I create most of the jewelry you'll find here, as well as some hand knitted/crocheted textiles, paintings and fine art photography (although my mom is a wonderful photographer as well:)) I'm a stay at home mom/ homeschooler/ artist & also work part-time in our family's flower shop & married to the most amazing man in the world!
