Hi there and welcome to Panduhmonium!

Panduhmonium was created to share my love of Japanese "kawaii" (cute) things. I love creating cute, unique items that will put a smile on your face. What's cuter than tons and tons of pandas?! My drawings are usually very simple and a lot of people say I am a minimalist. My philosophy is that is doesn't have to be complicated to be cute and make you smile. Some of the best things in life are very simple. :)

Panduhmonium is actually a combination of two of my childhood nicknames: Panda and Duh. I decided to use it as my artist name to combine the chaos and cute-ness that is my art. Pandas tend to be my subjects, but you will also find other interesting characters in Panduhmonium from time to time.

All my items are made by me and my fiance helps me…

All my items are made by me and my fiance helps me out sometimes as well. I enjoy overseeing each process and you can be sure my hands were involved in every single product I make.

It all started with a simple package of Sculpey III from Michael's. I made charms out of polymer clay and was so excited to find Etsy to be able to sell them. Then I discovered shrinky dink shrink plastic and that changed everything. Now majority of my charms are printed onto acrylic, but I still use shrinky dinks to make earrings. I discovered screen printing in early 2010 and have been doing it ever since. :)

I have a Bachelors in Animation and enjoy history very much, especially animation history.

My inspirations are Sanrio, San-X, Japanese animation mastermind Hayao Miyazaki, Satoshi Kon, Japanese Lolita fashion, tokidoki, Masashi Kishimoto, Hideo Kojima, anime, manga, video games, Hanna-Barbera, UPA, and pretty much anything that has cute characters.

In my spare time I doodle, play video games (hooked on Skyrim and Professor Layton right now), read manga, and spend lots of time with my fiance and best friend, Ross. I also have a hamster named Penelope. Super Mario World is my favorite game.

You can find me in different places all around the web.
