Leslie's Profile

About

I own a small bookbindery and twine supply shop in rainy but beautiful Portland, OR, with my kind husband and homicidal beta fish, Wall-e. Like my city, my style is one that appreciates simple details and fresh lines. I am inspired by budding plants that come with a new season, and I find endless creative encouragement by fall's cool breeze.

I have a greater purpose behind each sale: a portion of profits is used to offer micro-finance loans to impoverished communities and individuals through the foundation Kiva.org. This empowers motivated entrepreneurs to have the means necessary to start or expand a business that provides financial security for their families and local villages.
