:: WHO AM I? ::

I'm like Princess Fiona in Shrek- by day I'm a corporate scientist, by night I turn green... well not exactly, but I turn into a hopeless paperholic who thrives in creating all things paper.

Random coincidence? Maybe, maybe not.

Perhaps the common theme here is that I love the beauty of chemistry. The fact that seemingly disparate elements can be meld under the right conditions into something new.

I'm fortunate enough to live in the beautiful San Francisco Bay Area, where I get inspirations from all things around me- the gorgeous sunset from our south-facing window, cherry blossoms that landed on my doggie's little wet nose, the shop window in the little boutique down the street...

I love using materials from all around the world- handmade paper from India, raw silk from Thailand, silk ribbon from Japan, pressed flowers from British Columbia... part of the joy is to appreciate the synergy from these elements that have never met from different ends of the world.

I'm currently experimenting with various printing methods. Gocco and letterpress are the 2 that I'm currently playing with. Any images you see here (as well as custom orders) can be produced with either methods for a different aesthetic. Please contact me if you're interested in a custom order with either the gocco or letterpress!
