About

I've been doing origami for about 10 years now and I just love to share it! I love learning to create new models and creating my own variations. I live with my husband on the beautiful shores of Lake Superior and enjoy spending time outside and being inspired by nature.

To make my items I start with a small sheet of Japanese washi paper and fold it into the desired design. After the model is completed outer layers are glued down for extra strength. Then I pierce a hole in the model for the jewelry findings. I apply 3 coats of resin to the piece for added durability and to make the piece water resistant, the pieces must dry between each coat. After the resin cures the pieces are transformed into jewelry using silver plated findings and swarovski crystals.
