About

I have been an artist all my life. I have never thought for a moment about being anything else. My mother was the first to point out my talents. She says that as a child I could draw people very well.
I have a Master's degree from the New York Academy of Art, where I studied anatomy, perspective and all things traditional and classical. I continue to make fine art as well as my more creative and commercial works. I teach in Continuing Education programs, at Art and Cultural Centers, I hold classes and workshops in Figure Drawing as well as give Private Instruction from my studio on the Lower East Side in NYC.
I studied Belly Dance for 7 years and performed in NYC on occasion. It never became a profession for me however; it did and is a passion. I began incorporating Belly Dance into my art and have been able to combine my two most prominent passions.
