I am an avid collector of vintage cookbooks, needlework books, and sewing patterns. I love collecting fabric. As a sewing and crocheter I believe that you can never have too much fabric or yarn. I started Pattern Memories because I have so many things and ideas collecting dust in a dark corner of my room. I felt that sharing was a good way to share my collection for patterns and my passion for vintage. While I got my Bachelor's in Education, my true love has been sewing. I have been sewing and doing crafts for about 30 years.

I started sewing when I was 8 and began needlework such as embroidery, crochet and cross stitch by the age of 10. I always envied those who could knit but the needles and I alway seemed to be fighting. (LOL) I never seemed to get past the first row. I love to sew and create things for others. When I am not taking care of my baby and preschooler, you can find me sewing or going on scavenger hunts to my local thrift stores to find patterns and books to sell.

I have two little ones at home that are always interested in what mommy is doing. I hope as they grow, they can find something they can truly love to share as I have.
