About

When my mother was a child, her grandmother had a box of odds and ends, old magazines, buttons, and the like, that she would bring out and encourage the kids to use to make whatever they wanted. The joy of creating new from old has been passed down through our family, and I'm proud to carry on the tradition!

I love discovering things that people have abandoned, and finding new ways to use them. I'm incapable of going for a walk without coming home with something I found along the way, from rusty washers (really, where do they all come from?) to garbage day treasures like furniture and sewing machines. Hopefully, my new Etsy store will even help me clear out my ever-growing collection of found items just a tad!
