"Paul I enjoyed viewing your work. For me it has a restful quality- contemplative , fresh and lovely."

Having spent much time in my life in the deserts of Saudi Arabia and the English countryside I have a feeling and a need for solitude, space and quiet, places that satisfy that need. Similarly many objects, man made or natural, alone or in small numbers appeal to those same feelings.

Although I have never stopped painting, my professional life began as a glassblower working in various studios in England and France before branching out to make and sell my own work. Eventually the need and desire to paint overtook that to blow glass and this is now where I concentrate all my efforts and creativity.
