Barbara Schoener's Profile
I first started sewing when I was seven years old with my very own child-sized Singer sewing machine. Sewing doll clothes for my sisters' and my dolls was a great start, then in high school Home Ec (remember Home Ec?!) I made a dress. It was the only one in the class that didn't fall apart. I made my own clothes in college and for many years after.
I am still quite inspired by pretty dresses: you can see that influence in my sassy aprons. I pay close attention to design detail, color combinations and special touches to make my aprons unique. My aprons are designed to be worn whether for special occasions or to make everyday special. They are known for not only their high quality construction but for beautiful fabric combinations and the extra special touches that make them stand out. I also prevail upon my daughters, my husband and even my neighbors to try on aprons…
