Welcome to my store! Here you will find paper cuttings known as Scherenschnitte, a very old art form that was developed in Germany hundreds of years ago, and kept alive in America by the Pennsylvania Dutch.

I have been entranced by silhouettes since I was a little girl, studying the pictures in my mother's childhood books from Germany. I still have those beautiful old books. I try to stay true to the original art form while adding my personal touches to make the work my own. I try to tell a story with all of my pictures, for that is what makes it fun.
