My name is Peggy Dlugos and I am a fiber/textile artist living at the base of Pikes Peak in Manitou Springs, Colorado. I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and moved to Colorado as an adult. I feel very lucky to have lived my life so far in 2 exquisitely beautiful and artistic cities. I am inspired by nature, architecture, music, poetry and most of all, rich color.

Needle arts have been a part of my life as far back as I can remember. Embroidery, dressmaking, tailoring, quilting, beading and felting have all played a role in developing my creativity. I am currently focusing on dyeing repurposed and vintage textiles using only plant dyes. It is so much fun to be able to create beautiful color all derived from my environment.
