Beauty is found in the simple, natural forms around us. Organic shapes, colors and textures are harnessed using design elements to guide the viewer into seeing the energy and life hidden within. In this way the seldom noticed details of the natural world become elevated to the sacred.

My prints are based on the "hiaku moments" of my life when there is a heightened awareness and I see the world with greater clarity. Details that I don't normally notice hold a special significance and their deeper meaning is revealed. The moment passes, but I am left with a special, almost magical feeling. It is that moment that I try to capture in my work.
