I have always loved to create. As a child I spent my time drawing, crafting, reading and writing. My Grandmother made blankets by quilting and crocheting. She taught me to crochet the I was still very young. Her quilts and the hippie movement of the 60's and 70's inspired me to create patchwork clothing.
I found my love for learning only expanded as an adult. I took sewing classes through continuing education, and spent many years in college studying. I studied, art history, composition, design elements, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, and ceramics.
In 2007 I began to travel extensively, going to Thailand, India, Nepal. While in Northern India I spent much of my time learning the art of silver smithing.
