I've always loved nature and everything that's a part of it-- wildflowers, forests and thickets, songbirds, the insects of summer, the scent of rain; things of that nature. I make a constant study of my environment, always seeking to improve my knowledge of the world and its workings. I pay a lot of attention to the natural world and my work tends to focus on plants, animals, or sometimes stranger things.

I am a bit of jack of all trades and I tend to bounce around between all kinds of media, learning new media and switching my focus from time to time. I love being able to make all sorts of different things. For now I mainly paint in watercolors and acrylics and sculpt jewelry and miniatures from polymer clay. I also dabble in photography, origami, terrariums, plant cultivation, beading, whittling, stained glass, DIY, sewing, mixed media and collage.

I love to hand build and wheel throw with clay, but at the moment I don't have access to a studio space, so my pottery activity is limited at best. Right now I'm on the lookout for a kiln of my own so I can begin sculpting and throwing again!
